| Number of Arabic books: Approximately 10,000 titles. Number of foreign books: Approximately 2,500 titles. The books are arranged according to the Dewey Decimal Classification on 13 columns of shelves. There are other materials such as video tapes, cassettes, and CDs, as well as a number of government publications. There are 4 daily newspapers in addition to some magazines. There is a research and internet hall equipped with 15 computer devices. There are 15 tables for reading and research in a designated area with a capacity of 60 beneficiaries at a time, in addition to seating areas near the shelves. Installation of a new automated system (Unicorn) for comprehensive library automation. There is a theft protection system for books equipped with a demagnetization and remagnetization device when needed. |
